On the afternoon of July 11th, Michael Nobel, Chairman of Nobel Sustainability Trust (NST) and his delegation visited Sino-US Food and Agriculture Innovation Center (SUFAIC) accompanied by Yu Dongju, Director of Promotion and Coordination Office, Food Valley of China, Hu Guoqiang, Chairman of SUFAIC and Wang Chunlin, Chairman of Weifang Sino-Israel Agricultural Company.
The Delegation first visited exhibition hall of SUFAIC to get to know in details current cooperation projects between SUFAIC and UC Davis as well as operating mechanism of projects in SUFAIC. Michael Nobel spoke highly of SUFAIC’s efforts in leading the concept of sustainable agricultural development, promoting advanced global technology as well as absorbing and allocating green resources within a larger scope.
Mr. Michael Nobel mentioned that Nobel Sustainability Trust had been dedicated to dissemination of new sustainable technology related to energy, fishery and agriculture industries and conducted wide cooperation with numerous universities and research institutes in the world. NSF expected to develop cooperation with SUFAIC in the future and give full play to its own superiority so as to make more contributions to sustainable development of agriculture in Weifang.
